Tribute to Gaston Ferland

Formerly a motorcycle athlete, Gaston Ferland made his snowmobile debut in 1963. The former Valcourt citizen rode his Ski-Doo machine in 1963 and won his first victory at the Quebec Winter Carnival.

The drag track – a great challenge through the years

A number of drag racing enthusiasts had asked the organization of the Grand Prix Ski-doo de Valcourt to add this discipline to the general program, which was done with great enthusiasm in 2011. The implementation has been a challenge a few times, but the GPSV team have worked hard to improve this event over the past few years.

A tribute to Terry and Dustin Wahl

It is a tradition at the Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt to pay particular attention to a competitor who has made an exceptional contribution to snowmobile racing. In 2013, the organizing committee decided to honor legendary number 74 Terry Wahl.
