The Grand Prix du tourisme Québécois recognizes the best national and regional events in all of the tourism, which encourage the organizations that develop that second most important industry in Quebec. The Festival International de Motoneige of Valcourt won a prize in the categories of event tourism.

The Prix Eugène-Lalonde de la société St-Jean Baptiste of the Sherbrooke geographical area, recognized Denis Leclerc. The award was to recognize the encouragement and development of sport in the region of the Bishop.

The Grand prix du tourisme Estrien was awarded to Denis Leclerc with the title “Builder of Tourism in Estrie”, an award specially created for the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Grand Prix du tourisme Estrien, to honour the individuals and enterprises that have contributed to Estire, making it an destination to discover and enjoy.

A special “event: mention was given to the President of the Grand Prix Valcourt, Denis Leclerc, during the presentation of the Tourism Ambassadors Awards

The Gala de reconnaissance du Val Saint-François provided the Grand Prix de Valcourt, recognition in the category of event recreation-tourism

With the experience of Arsene Malenfant, who was involved with the Grand Prix de Valcourt for over 25 years, paired with the energy of newcomer, Roch Bourassa, was recognized by the Merite Estrien.

Nominated in the category, “Event of the Year”, by the prestigious Canadian Tourism Awards 2017, preseted by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, (AITC).

The médaille de l’Assemblée nationale was presented to M. Donald Lemay, president of the Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt, for his contribution to the snowmobile and motorsport industry. Sitting on the board of administration of the Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt for over 35 years, he contributed greatly to the creation and support of the event.

The Grand prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt received the prestigious Event of the Year, awarded by the prestigious champions of the American TLR Cup Tour.
