The first educational snowmobile centre in North America

Builded at the Bombardier Test Track in Valcourt, (Maricourt) and with adjacent fields, it was the first education centre at the time, and supported by the Grand Prix Saint-Laurent and Bombardier. Financial support was provided by the Government of Canada, through the program RELAIS and support from Bombardier. The project launched 5 November, 1984, with the goal to offer security, technique and drive testing.

Although the very first snowmobile educational center was created mainly thanks to the involvement of the Grand Prix Saint-Laurent and Bombardier , the major work on the site made it possible to redo the racetrack of the Yvon-Duhamel Circuit, a set up site for trailers and snowmobiles, as well as three (3) parking lots.
