Builded at the Bombardier Test Track in Valcourt, (Maricourt) and with adjacent fields, it was the first education centre at the time, and supported by the Grand Prix Saint-Laurent and Bombardier. Financial support was provided by the Government of Canada, through the program RELAIS and support from Bombardier. The project launched 5 November, 1984, with the goal to offer security, technique and drive testing.<\/p>\n

Although the very first snowmobile educational center was created mainly thanks to the involvement of the Grand Prix Saint-Laurent and Bombardier , the major work on the site made it possible to redo the racetrack of the Yvon-Duhamel Circuit, a set up site for trailers and snowmobiles, as well as three (3) parking lots.<\/p>\n

\u00c9rig\u00e9 sur le site de la piste d\u2019essai de Bombardier \u00e0 Valcourt (Maricourt) et sur les terrains adjacents, ce premier centre \u00e9ducatif voit le jour \u00e0 la suite d\u2019une entente entre le Grand Prix Saint-Laurent et Bombardier. Une subvention du gouvernement canadien par le biais du programme RELAIS et une commandite de Bombardier auraient permis d\u2019entamer le projet le 5 novembre 1984 dans le but d\u2019offrir des cours de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, des cours techniques et des cours de conduite.<\/p>

Bien que le tout premier centre \u00e9ducatif de la motoneige ait vu le jour principalement gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019implication du Grand Prix Saint-Laurent et de Bombardier, ces travaux majeurs sur le site ont permis de refaire la piste de course du Circuit Yvon-Duhamel, d\u2019am\u00e9nager un site pour les roulottes et les motoneiges ainsi que trois (3) stationnements.<\/p>
